I received a call from them at 4:24 today. Did not leave a message on my answering machine. The same message "about reducing your credit card debt, etc." has been used with other telephone numbers that have left messages. I also am on the dnc registry and have been for along time.

It's obvious this is a fraudulent scam.  Why aren't the police going after these crooks?  I got hung up on when I asked for details about the refinancing they were offering.

These calls drive me bananas because I work with the elderly and I know that a certain percentage of them will fall for this.  I plan to report the number, but I know this won't stop.  Sickos who prey on the weak never stop...

I can't believe I feel for this! NEVER give your info to someone that calls you.

If you have real live people bothering you get a boat air horn, it comes in a portable container and is powered by some type of air or gas. Then, blast it into the phone as soon as they start talking and then hang up. I get this warm fuzzy feeling each time I do this!
The Do Not Call list and all the other options are totally useless. Get an air horn ....it's a blast!
