Caller ID said US Government.  It was a recording in Spanish.  Did not understand much.  Thought I heard something about Yahoo but not completely sure.

Caller ID shows "U S GOVERNMENT".  When you pick up, there is a recording in Spanish that says, "If you want your company website to be on the first page of search results from Google, Bing and Yahoo!, please press 1.  To be removed, press 9."

I pressed 1, was routed to an operator, and asked what company this was.  He said the company was "Google".  I asked if it was directly from Google, or if this was an affiliate of Google.  The operator told me it was "Your Local Merchant".

I asked them to place me in the company's internal DNC list.

I received a phone call from the same number but in Spanish.  I tried calling back but got the message that the call could not get through.  My opinion is that this is a scam.  Further, as a former government employee, I suggest it be reported to somebody.
