This is a collection agency that buys old debts.

This is an OK law firm that is a bottom feeder, as known in the industry. Basically they buy old debts, new debts-you name it. THen they shotgun out their letters and calls to intinidate you into paying. If all else fails, they will file a SUmmons to Appear - which you get right before or shortly after the court date. The judge or clerk files a default judgment since you didn't show up, and then they let you know that. The sad thing is, they do this on uncollectable debt, debts bought from non-litigation states, and debts that are out of statue for collecting. The suck and have no respect. Currently they are battling nearly 200+ claims AGAINST them!! SO...there you ahve it.

The caller was male and very rude.  He got hateful with me when I would ask him a question and then he was saying I said something I did not say.  Is there not any guide lines these people have to follow?  His name was Kevin Owens and he is a very rude man.

ATTENTION many of you who owe debts from credit cards and [auto] motor ect... if it was an ARBITRATION judgmnt you may have grounds for a release and if you push the issue you may be entitled to a refund of all youve paid.
An arbitration Jmt is when Jmt is obtained w/o you being officially served. Say you defaulted on Manhttn credit card, a few mos. go by by and you get a letter from a place you never heard of (thats possibly the arbitration corp) So you throw it in the trash..the arbitration then obtains an arbitration judgment claiming you are a no show and the next thing you know your being garnished $10k for a credit card that had a 3k limit.

TURNS OUT the Arbitration corp. had a HEDGE FUND with several junk debt  byers, they all merged together and made tons of $$ .. and guess who paid?? You the persons who paid the collection lawfirms.
