On answering machine: "Did you vote in the last presidential electron?" Sorry, but I never speak to unknown hooters. Looks like it is some conservative, religious political action committee. Bottom line: they want your vote or, better yet, your money. Get lost. I blocked this number!

Called here tonight with a robo voice asking if I voted in the last presidential election?
BLOCKED!
OMG - how many political calls/numbers/surveys do you think we are going to have to block for the next 5 months?
My call blocker can block 1200 numbers - I bet I get there fairly quickly with election calls!

I talked to a guy, he gave his name as Gary and he said it was about political surveys and want me to say the magical words (YES) because they tape the conversation.....do you vote? i said uh-huh !! did you vote in the last election?  Uh-huh..  and for future polling they could use an automated system VIA electronic poll.. I need to push 1 for future automated consent or say (YES).. meanwhile during his BS speech, I called the number that was displayed on the caller I.D. with my cell phone during that time I said, I dont consent to anything until you can answer one question? he said, sure !! I asked why do you guys use a bogus number that is not in service? he instantly went into a hello, I cant hear you there must be a bad connection ! I sad [***] you can hear me and you are in violation of the FCC.. he said I cant hear, you are breaking up, I will switch you to a supervisor please hold and wait it might be a while, so i waited knowing that there will be no connection but wanted to see how long it took for the line to disconnect.. it took one minute for the line to disconnect!

( the number I called, that was  displayed, Verizon message went something like.. announcement 2321-5 the number is no longer in service or has been disconnected)

hopes this will give people the idea to call the number back on cell phones, while talking to them on the (land line) home phone to see if its legit or a scam! then play their game..
