Received a call at work stating that he was a representative of the state investegative dept. trying to collect a debt. Said he was going to have me arrested and put into jail. he was going to contact my mother and friend and have they notified of this and have them pay it. He did not tell me who I owed, or what the name of his company was.  His name is Michael Johnson.
Phone numbers were 516-882-3171 and 405-308-4656. he was nasty and threatening.

Hi I received the same call telling me I owe 5000+ dollars and if I didn't pay it they were going to download the case and then they reduced it to 1095  and allowed 4 payments. They took the first 250 but I want to make sure this is a legitimate agency.

I had this same call stating that there was some kind of fraud activity that my son was supposedly involved in, using my name and that if I didi't call them back to resolve it, I would have to suffer the consequence. I called back and got voicemail, so left a message, but they never called me back. I keep getting calls from other numbers using the same format. I have not called them back because I figured they are scammers. If this wasn't so seriously ridiculous, It would be funny! I am getting sick and tired of them calling me. From what it sounds like, others have contacted the FBI, Attorney General's office, etc, and nothing is being done about it. Wonder just how many people are falling for this,and sending them money! If anyone knows how to get these jackassess off my back, I sure would like to know!
