Has anyone received calls from this number?? 1-405-233-8257?
The message is about a litigation or something from davis law office. He says that this has gone into the final phase before it goes to court... It sounds like a scam and I don't think I have done anything that would justify a call like this
so if anyone has received a call from this number, Please post what they think it is.

Short answer-
1. You are NOT warned if a court summons is coming.
2. It is illegal to claim to be an attorney if you are no.
3. "Litigation" - seems to be a fancy word for debt collector.
Demand WRITTEN proof of this "problem" that is MAILED to you. Expect excuses & possible threats (also illegal).

I haven't gotten a call like that but others have. Its under several phone numbers on this site. Yes, its a scam. They invent a crime or a past-due debt and threaten you with prison. The police are on the way. But if you pay the fine or debt right now, by Western Union or Green Dot, the charges will be dropped and he'll call-off the police. The money you send cleares instantly. The caller vanishes with your money.
