I received the same exact email from this John fellow. I have been asking for proof of the company's existence, websites, addresses, phone numbers, and other offices and their addresses.

So far got the run around.

It must be a scam.

It is a scam. They offered me work too. How it works is they are stealing money form others via credit and checks, They need a money mule to filter the money through and  to send them the rest of the stolen funds minus your 10% cut. When the authorities catch on, guess who is on the hook for the stolen funds? You are because you received it and funneled it to all parties involved.

Got the exact same e-mail today, I hate these guys...

Received exact email todat.
