Called 8:45 a.m. & 12:45 p.m. today saying "final notice" that IRS is filing lawsuit against me & to call back at that number to get more information about this case file.

Called 3 times today claiming to be the IRS and asking me to call this number. Obvious scam.

Experienced the same as the first two notes-two or more calls, stating the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me, and I should call the number as soon as possible.

Same as before. I called back the lines were real static. They told me I owed 4500 and asked for my ss number I told them I don't give out over phone and it hung up. Got a second call same thing except I asked more questions and told the to call my tax person and the phone hung up again.

Same experience as those listed above. Two voice mail messages about final notice of IRS filing a lawsuit against me. I went to the IRS website and filled out a form with the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Admin. Apparently this is an ongoing scam
