Hey,

I received a similar email stating as below,

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA,
ASO ROCK VILLA,LAGOS-NIGERIA,

FROM THE DESK OF

PRESIDENTIAL GRANTS TASK FORCE

and given an account number 2984-0008-66 and some swift code BOPIPHMM

from the email address - info@w.cn

But what i found pretty funny was the subject line which goes - ARE YOU STILL DEAD OR ALIVE

I also received a text message with my first name and mandi.carter2009@gmail.com claiming she moved and wanted to keep in touch. Don't know anyone with that name.. did not add on FB.

I got this message from mandi carter as well. First how did they know my name? My cell isnt even in my name. And someone earlier said they dont have a gmail account so how could it be from that? I don't get it, how could they have my name, if my cell isnt under my name and I dont believe I've ever emailed my number to anyone? Also I don't use facebook at all. I created an account a long time ago under a fake name and havent even looked at it for months, so it couldnt be from that.

The only thing I can think of is some how our cells got hacked and they got our name from messages and stuff on our phones? I don't know?

What do we all have in common?

Does everyone who got this have Verizon? I do. That must be it right? but still how did they get my name, unless they hacked my phone somehow?

And what are they trying to accomplish? and how? we go to their FB page and it has a virus?
