This. Number is calling my phone

Got a call saying they are data checks of America's legal department and I am going to be sued at 5 pm for a bank account I never owned. I called back and they said that by law they could not tell me the name of their company. Scammers I'm sure!!

Said they are calling about a return check.

Just received a call about a return d check and that the funds will be drafted from my account tomorrow.

I have received multiple calls from this number. They are a complete scam. The Police Cyber Crimes/Identity Department says the latest: Even if you did bounce a check, the bank has filed at the court house so that it is official. Once you have been notified through the proper legal channels you and the bank can work out payment arrangements without proceeding to trail. However, anyone attempting to collect a debt by phone is BREAKING THE LAW and no matter what you should not ever give your Credit Card, Bank Account, or Financial Information to anyone saying that you have to pay or they will process an automated bank draft or prosecute you. Any bank will tell you the exact same thing (As I asked Wells Fargo and Sun Trust). Please don't give you account information or be intimidated by these scammers. Stay Strong America
