my landline used to belong to a physician about 6 years ago and we get random calls from old lists every now and then.  Someone looking to lease space in the dr's office with diagnostic equipment.

Received call reporting to be a PA on behalf of a physician wanting to lease space in office to do EMG/NCS.  Suspicious as I am a physician that performs these studies.  Attempted to play along and query the caller and was getting all the wrong answers concerning the specialty of the supervising doctor etc... When asked where the supervising doctor/ medical director was located was answered that it was irrelevant and would be reimbursed $1500 for lease.  When pursued queries about the doctors credentials since our office is already certified for these studies caller quickly hung up.  Please note that while the caller stated that the supervising physician was Scott Davis I have no way of knowing if this is true or fiction.

Marty Allen, who "works with Dr. Scott Davis", called about "doing diagnostic testing in my office, with income as a result to my practice".  Marty's partner will be in my vicinity next week and wants 5-10 minutes of my time.

Received the same call as the above stated, Mr. Marty Allen wanted to speak with my doctor, but I took a number instead because it sounded a little off. He is supposedly going to be in next week and wants 5-10 minutes of my doctor's time to speak to him.
