I just got a call from this number claiming I won 2.5 million dollars and a brand new Mercedes but have to purchase a $500 Money Pack Card from Walmart to give to delivery guy when he drops off the cheque.
Says his name is James Carson or Parson, and is the CEO of the Gaming Corporation in Atlanta Georgia.  Sound very suspicious to me.  

I googled both the company and his name and found nothing..... if it's real that would be amazing but my instincts say its a scam to get $500 from unsuspecting people.

Has anyone else heard of this happening??

Yes  -- it is a scam.  I've more often heard of this type of scam coming from a Jamaican number (876 area code) but it sounds like the same scam.  Don't fall for it!

This James Carson scum bag claims to be the cousin of the late Johnny Carson.His father was JC (RIP) uncle. He has a pronounced accent and is from Trinidad and says he is 45 years old. You are supposed to send money order to his accountant Henry Frye @ 1035 Four St. Fairfax , Oklahoma zip 74637. Attorney General Frank Lucas will release lottery winnings (2.5 Mil) once money is received. The scum bag will fly to where-ever you live and hand deliver your money, issued any way you want it CASH, CERTIFIED CHECK ,etc. he will even accompany you to the bank.   WHAT A LOW LIFE INDIVIDUAL. DON'T FALL FOR THIS ONE. HOPE AUTHORITIES CATCH UP WITH HIM.
