A woman called and asked if we take credit cards. I asked "for what", and she said "for payment". I thought she wanted to purchase something and was asking if we accepted credit cards. Then she asked for the owner. I asked her if this was a sales call, and she said she wasn't selling anything. She hung up on me when I told her that the owner wasn't available, but that she could talk to me, the Office Manger. I have caller ID, so I called her back, and told her to take our # off her list that I didn't want another call from her. She said "I don't think so!" This woman is really arrogant, kept insisting that she didn't sell anything, but finally admitted that she was calling to let us know about the new credit card increase and wanted to see if they could save us money. So I said "sounds like you ARE trying to sell me something" at which point she hung up again. Telemarketing companies like this should get fined for their blatant lying and unprofessional behavior
