This is a total scam call - stating that I have to clear a bench warrant because I supposedly signed a document that I would appear in US Superior Court for some "federal panel selection", and failed to show. It is very intimidating, and sounds very legitimate, until you are directed to get a "green dot money pack" with cash only, before coming down to the courthouse to clear your name. What a total scam - from staying constantly on the line with the person, to telling the caller your mileage, to not silencing or hanging up your phone until you get to the courthouse.  What I did instead was go down to the local police precinct to find out how they could trace this call and find these crooks. Just BEWARE of this kind of scam - it is really a sad commentary on the way our electronics age has devolved. I labeled this crank call, but it is really phone fraud.
