Received a call from a Miss Johnson, "Special Agent" at Highland Financial in Georgia this morning. She said a loan was deposited into my account back in 2010 at a bank I have never banked at - the bank doesn't even exist in my area, here in Illinois.  It was scary how much information they had, my social security number, address, phone number and last 4 digits of my old checking account.  The said the loan was originally $200 and is now $1200 and if I don't pay by noon they would process a warrant for check fraud and come to my house. These people are scammers - When I asked for written confirmation, she told me she could not do that and that  because this was much more serious than an unpaid debt - it was out of her hands. I had to pay or she would hang up and process the warrant.  I hung up on her and filed a complaint with the FTC. The have also called from 855-798-1893

Here's the message:

"This is special investigator duke , I've a complaint on my desk involving your name and social. You or your attorney have until the end of the day to contact me. If I do not hear back, I'll accept this as a willful evasion and sign off on this warrant of satisfaction and forwarded to your local county for processing and pick up. So to avoid an embarrassing situation because the first place they will come will be your place of employment. I advice you to contact me immediately at 1-855-789-1893 ext 302. You have been notified".

The number is sometimes 1-404-334-7492. This scammers are pieces of [***]!

Got an automated message from 404-334-7492 stating there was a complaint filed against my SSN. I researched the phone number and decided to call back, but not on the 855 number in the message. The phone was answered "investigations". They asked for the phone number. I was then put on hold to speak with a supervisor. Miss Duke got on the phone, and asked for my phone number again. Then asked for my last name. She actually couldn't find anything. I wish she would have so I could have had some fun. If you have the time, don't call back the 855 number, use the 404 number, stay calm and have some fun with them. Ask lots of questions. If they say their going to issue a warrant, ask which judge is going to sign it. Remember only a judge can issue a warrant. Also remember that defaulting on a loan is a civil not a criminal matter. Laughing when they say something really pisses them off. This is a scam and don't fall for it!!! Don't let it upset you either!! Tell them to go ahead and try and get that warrant. Tell them no judge in your area will sign a warrant for something that is not a criminal matter. They may try to argue with you, but stay calm because that's what they want. Just keep asking questions. They will hang up on you and shouldn't hear from that scam again. Unortunately, they aren't the only ones out there.

Received the same message.but used a different name, Health Account Receivable Group. They had all my Information also plus they gave a time limit for today and the lady's name is Ms Davis. The number is 404-334-7492. I have tried to pay all my bills that I make but when you know that you have them off then this sort of thing comes up. I would like for them to be put on the HOT seat

I received a message from an Investigator Knowles from the this same number. She had the last 4 digits of S.S.N, she said there was an investigation and she needed a statement from me regarding criminal activity and I needed to return the call or they were going to my job or home.
