Got a call from this number. 5 second pause. The man then says "Is this Sandra?". I say no and start to ask a question and he immediately hangs up. Phone scam?

I got a phone call from this 4043344062 number and I recently moved to the Atlanta area so when it popped up I answered bc it was an Atlanta number and I figured it probably could be someone important or about a job I recently filled out for I answered no one said anything they then hung up so I called it back and it kept saying busy so I looked the number up don't know who it was but just sharing that this same number has called me also

When I answered the call from this number,  a male asked  for John.  I told him he had the wrong number.  He said that I could maybe help him and proceeded to solicit a donation for disabled veterans.  He wanted to send me a sponsor packet. I asked him to send it and I would try to send a small donation.  He replied he couldn't unless he had a verbal commitment. I told him no thanks as he went into a very pushy mode. Lots of pauses, sounded like the call was being recorded.

Caller called left no message and I didn't answer nor am I calling back! I bet it is a scammer!

Just got a call from this number, but didn't answer because I didn't recognize it. They didn't leave a message. I don't live in GA anymore, but kept my GA number.
