I get calls from numbers close to this one on my home phone, but now they have my mobile phone number.  They ALWAYS sit on my voice mail for about a minute or two, all I hear is background noise.  Very annoying.  I'm going to start picking up calls from this area code and hanging up immediately.  I suspect they are on some type of call center system that is monitoring how many calls they make and how long they are on the line as some measure of productivity. That is the only explanation I can think of for why these a-holes fill up people's voice mail.
