they said it was the last call from the IRS owed money and they would be taking action we should call them at this number

This  Number called me this morning stating they are with the IRS and they are filing a lawsuit against me in a recording.  I called the number back and  an Indian woman answered saying something that sounded like thank you for calling the Internal Revenue Service. I told her that I don't believe she is with the IRS, nor do I believe that she is filing a lawsuit against me. She  abruptly hung up on me! I called back again and an Indian sounding man answered with the same greeting. I asked him if he is really with the IRS and he avoided the question. I told him I was calling BS on the "law suit" and he responded by telling me he hopes I have a bad morning and hung up on me!  What a scam!

I got a message saying it was final notice from the IRS and they would be filing a lawsuit against me- total scam

same thing happened to me.  A recording saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit and to call this nbr.  what's the purpose of such a call?
