This is one of those voice-activated calls.  I don't know how they do it but, they can respond to your statements.  The caller idea showed None as the company or i.d. name.   It is a scam asking people to donate money to the families of police officers.   Any legitimate charity will show their name on caller i.d.  Even if they do show their name, still be leery!   Especially during the holiday season.   Check out any charity before you give.   The same if they are sending you mail seeking a donation.
