Lady said she was an investigator investigating a fraud????

I got a call as well! But from a Ms Benton, she left a message on my in-law's home voicemail which is strange because I never have ever given anyone that number. She first said it was regarding a legal matter, then said it was check fraud. I don't understand how, I don't have a checking account. I googled "404 fraud" and this website we are on has many other pages with similar phone numbers and the same scenario! its a total scam, beware! I'm reporting it to the FTC

Just received the same call, about fraudulent checks and good luck because you'll need it. Anyone who receives this call should look up an FDCPA attorney and they will sue the company for harassment as well as threatening business practices.  Each offense is a $1000 in your pocket, minus what the attorney wants. If you have messages left on your voicemail; save them as this is proof of there violations. Enjoy getting back at these morons.

THERE REAL NAMES ARE NINA GRANT AND DAVID GRANT....THE ARE IN ATL, GA AND ARE RUNNING A SCAM OUT OF A RESIDENTS USING MAGIC JACK PHONES TO MAKE IT SEEM LIKE THE ARE CALLING FROM YOUR STATE OR COUNTY...THEY ARE PROFESSIONALS AT SCAMMING PEOPLE OUT OF THERE MONEY. BE VERY AWARE THAT TACTIS ARE TO SCARE YOU INTO PAYING NOTHING MORE....CALL YOUR LOCAL POLICE DEPT AND ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE TO FILE COMPLAINTS AND HOPEFULLY THEY WILL BE ARRESTED SOON ENOUGH.
