These people are seriopus scammers. Trying to get you credit card information. If you tell them what they can do to their mother they get a little bent.

Just got same call from same number regarding lowering interest rates. I wish I had the ability to reach through the phone and punch the scammer on the nose.

I meant to say - these people call and want to offer you a smaller credit card interest rate. They say they are from CREDIT CARD SERVICES of Birmingham Al. and they reproesent Visa Master Card and etc etc.

Then when you tell the guy your on the DO NOT CALL LIST he starts to get smart - but telling him what kind of sexual services his mother performs you can tell he is a red neck back woods scammer.

Also received a call saying my credit could get a better rate. AND to make it easy, just press 1 on the phone. I never would but if it seemed authentic, I would hang up and contact my card holder directly. Since I did not recognize the number, I hung up and copied the number  to Google which is how I ended up here. It pays to be safe - always hang up and call a known legitimate phone number.

I just got a call from this number while I was in a meeting, so obviously I didn't answer. I was debating calling it back because I am in college and usually don't know the area codes of people anyways. But thanks to you all I know I don't need to call them back!
