I received a similar message from a process server, advising that he was coming to my home within 45 minutes to 1 hour to serve me a summons and I had to present a valid ID, or I have to call the ACP group at 404-220-8988 and gave me a case ID number to schedule an appointment to be served the summons. I was home and no one showed up. Two days later, I received another voicemail stating it was his 3rd an final attempt, and I needed to call that number right away. Both times the number came up unknown.
Quick check of the internet showed its a fraud for a payday loan collection, and that process servers do not call, they show up and serve, whether or not you are home. The attorneys page suggested to contact the local authorities immediately and the states attorney generals office. I did a search for "do process servers call you first" and found the above info. I'm contacting the authorities and attorney general.
