I just got a "FINAL NOTICE" card from the Summerville address today.  Not that I was going to call in any case, but I appreciate the information above, especially the note about the property address being on a list of houses owned by not lived in by the owner.  Which is, of course, exactly what this is - it's a rental.  Like so many of the rest of you, I'm not behind on anything.  I wouldn't sell this house regardless of the offer, as I am also an investor and this one in particular I was able to purchase at rock-bottom prices in a wonderful neighborhood in which prices are rising and rising.  It needed work that ran nearly as much as I paid for it, but it rents well and is worth a whole lot more than I would guess "Julie Hicks" wants to offer me!  My suggestion is just ignore the cards and letters, folks!

My notice came yesterday (5/29/2015) on the same yellow postcard, only it states in large boldface, "TERMINATION NOTICE".  The return address is also from Julie Hicks in [***] GA, but the phone number listed is 678-916-6057.  I too will return to the postal carrier with "Not at this address".

I just got "Third Notice" from Julie Hicks, 2450 Atlanta HWY Ste 1101, Cum-Ming, GA 30040-1253. I even never got the first or second. My bought my house not long ago and is not for sale in the near future. In fact, I am going to buy more for myself. I will return it to sender.

The postal inspectors are limited in what they can investigation.  I advise taken the card to the post office and making a complaint.  Then, if there is a return address, simply tell the party that sent you the card that you feel it is some sort of scam or other and you've reported them to the postal authorities.

That should stop the cards.

Anyone receiving such a card should not think of responding to it.  If you are determined to sell the property, go through a licensed local real estate broker .  Yes, you'll have to pay a commission if the broker makes the sale , but it is better than dealing with people who seem to be scammers.
