Don't these people have anything better to do than to make calls to everyone they can think of?  I never answer when caller ID shows a number I do not recognize.  Why don't these people get a real job?

I only answered this, as I was expecting a call from someone and didn't check the caller ID.  Someone above mentioned it was supposedly from the Fraternal Order of Police, and that's what this person said, but when he suggested I could donate and have it put on a credit card, I became suspicious and hung up.
