I recieved a call telling me that I had taken out a loan and Defalted on it back in 2011.  That so owed $1090 and if I wanted to take it to court, it would cost me $4290.00.  I spoke to Karen Moune who told me that there would be process server at my door with a Sherriffs deputy in the next few days.  The name of the company was Bronson &Associates and the number that they are using is 1-208-968-7976.  Karen Moune gave me her private number and that wAs 1 443-478-4436.  I should have known it was a fishing expedition when she kept trying to get me to pay the $1090.  She was very persistent.  I unfortunately verified my full name, last 4 digits of my Social and my address.  Don't fall for this like I did!!! I got do upset over this that it made me cry.  When I calmed down I called a lawyer.  She told me that it was probably a scam, but if or when I'm served, she would fight it.  Luckily I have a company that monitors for Identity theft!

they called here and left a message for a friend of mine, saying that a certain company has put in a complaint regarding this person, and if they did not receive a call they will serve this person on their job or residence.....

They left a message,  couldn't hear if it was for me or husband.
Her name is Karen moon calling from baton (I think) and associates.  They received a fax with a complaint filed against you.

ID themselves as Bronson and Associates.  Long history of debt scamming on 800notes.  Rely on phony threats.  Ignore and block the calls.  No idea where they are located.
