Blocked it without answering. I have grown to understand that a brand new call from a number, city, state or caller i.d. I'm not familiar with--and an i.d. that offers no clues, like 800 Service, or Out Of Area, or Unavailable, is a telemarketer, scammer, or political call. LEGITIMATE CALLERS USUALLY HAVE LEGITIMATE I.D.s that tell you who they are. I have never regretted blocking an unknown number. If I blocked a legitimate call, they will usually call right back. Scammers and robocallers don't do that (call back immediately).
