Robo call.  No-one on the line when I pick up.

Received an automated call claiming it's from Visa and Mastercard services promising that I can receive 0% interest on ALL my credit card accounts and I need to push 1 to sign up for this. I hung up and looked up this number asap. If you're  going to receive a lower interest rate on your credit cards your credit card company (bank, etc.) will contact you directly. Such a bogus scam to steal your info, but some people may fall for it. Be warned!

you don't need special equipment - anyone can spoof any number.  Check online.
