Didn't call me directly, but found the number in a craigslist job posting. Their site (OkiProvInc.com) led to a Vector site, which made the whole thing seem dubious, but they did have a local Rhode Island number, so I made sure to search online to be sure.

Thanks for the warning, Jordan. I saw another ad on Craigslist, and did a search for OkiProvInc.com since I'd never heard of them and found your note.

Thanks because I've certainly heard of the scam company VMS and their knives! For example:

so, is not safe to call the number?

I'm glad to see these comments. Researching job posting on craigs list; $16/hr base for entry level customer service!? Too good to be true. I wonder if Oki's Steakhouse is aware of a possiable connection.  I went to a Vector interview/seminar for selling knives maybe 10 years ago; how can they still have this going if it's a scam?
