I just got a call from this number @ 1:02 today. I said take me off your call list! The caller told me to F-Myself

call came in 8:50pm , had been two weeks since last call. Call is out of state rhode island 401-123-4321. They seem to be cordial, then after a second hello, they start "annoucing" you with you have been selected and won a GE Wireless Home Security system. I neither opted in or put in for a security system,  and I knew anyway a pause to goat you is a sign of a desperate decitful telemarketer scam.   This number has been on complaint with the attorney genetals office in Rhode Island with a hopeful response to action. I hope scammers read on. THey have also been notified to BBB.org for providence are and then also to the  Donotcall.gov complaint website. I hope they think twice before calling here again.

This number called my landline, heard voices, but they hung up.  I blocked my cell phone and tried to call the number back.  Verizon wireless recording said "no longer a working number"?????? How can that be??

Call to cell phone today after 3 calls to land line yesterday.  Telemarketing scam by company claiming to be Monitronics or Monotronics, depending on who is speaking.  They switch you to 'supervisors' frequently.  Hawking GE Home Security systems, claiming 'you're one of 9 people in your area selected' to get a 'free' system...which has monthly charges.  Operation is an audible boiler room, and all callers/supervisors have heavy east european accents.   Very likely identity theft scam as they want personal information to complete the deal.

I have gotten 3 calls from this number and I have an unlisted phone number.  I called my phone company to find out if it was a scam.  They called it and said they are either telemarketers or bill collectors.  My caller id identifies it as a Rhode Island phone.  Who knows if that is valid.
