I got one two, we had registered at at local parade for something, it was for a free vacation but the company wanted you cc info to pay the processing fees

Yep, same thing happened to me.  I registered  They promised me a free trip down to Florida.  They were good salespeople until I asked if they could give me a day to think it over and "investigate".  They said I had to "act now or they're going to the next person"...  They wanted me to pay almost $500 in "taxes" to them to collect the prize...  I yelled at them when I was sure it was a scam.
