I think the number was spoofed. I got a call, too. They didn't leave a message. I tried to call back twice. Once I got a busy signal. Second time I got a Verizon Wireless message saying that the number is not in service.

Received a call a short time ago. No message, probably a scammer rotating through a new number as evidenced by how many people have revived calls in the past hour.
