Three rings and by the time I could pick up the receiver, there was only a dial tone.  White pages shows the number as an unlisted land line.

Phone just rang from 523-1934; caller i.d. shows:  Best Value AC
Answering machine picked up after the 2nd ring, I answered less than a second later and said, "Hello."  Nobody there; didn't hear a "click" indicating "hanging up."
I've read on other "Unwanted Calls" sites:  there's a company (in Orlando, FL ?) offering "energy check" appointments in an attempt to sell [= force you to buy] unneeded gadgets / equipment.
Little do they know:  i HAVE a reliable A/C company in Palm Coast, FL = Atek Heating & Air, (386) 561-8484.  --Diesel

These bothersome idiots called here again.  When I answered, she said "wrong number" and hung up on me!  How rude!!!  NO ONE needs an a/c company that does cold calling.  Especially this time of year!!!!
