Automated call from a "Steve Martin" (very thick India/hendu accent - not caring if that is PC or not right now) saying something about "Important Treasury" stuff with a poor connection. I hung up but got a callback/re-ring and nothing on the line. Sounds like a scam.

Same as above. He talks gobbledygook about an injunction from the US treasury, "this is your second and final notice" (I only WISH it was my 2nd and final, as I've received this same recorded message a dozen times from several  similar numbers in the same area code!) He requests call back - always horrible connection, sounds like it was recorded on the freeway. Total scam!

Call was a recorded message telling me that I am in violation of a Federal code and have to call Peter immediately or this will be considered a second offense against the United States Treasury and I will have to appear in front of a magistrate (odd word for us Americans.)  Obviously a scam of some kind.

Just received the same recorded message from someone named "Steve Martin."  Didn't sound at all like the Steve Martin I know.  Definite scam.  If Steveorino calls back, I will be sure to block him.

Caller ID: Florida (I don't think it was the entire state of Florida though)
