After posting on this site, my question is, what good does this site do?   Are these comments forwarded to anyone who can do anything about these calls, or is this info just to make people feel good that they are not alone?

me too, when i tell them im on do not call list, they hag up on me, when i call back its obviously a fake # as there is no ring

CALL TO CELL PHONE WHICH IS REGISTERED ON DNC LIST.  NUMBER AND LINK TO THIS COMPLAINT REGISTER PAGE SUBMITTED TO FTC WITH REQUEST TO PROSECUTE THESE VULTURES.

SUGGEST EACH RECEIVING CALLS FROM THESE HAWKSTERS SUBMIT A COMPLAINT TO THE FTC.

I, too, am on the National and state do not call list. These people are also using an automated system to make these calls. The FTC has ruled they are not to use automated systems. So, they are busted on two levels.
I plan to report them as soon as possible.

Recorded voice talks about the last chance to lower my interest rate, invites me to press 1 to speak to a live operator.  Operator hangs up as soon as I start to ask to be placed on the company's Do Not Call list.
