Telemarketer calling to tell me about an upcoming electric bill increase, then wanted to tell me about discounts (or something...) I could qualify for. All I needed to do was verify my address.

Clearly a scam. The number they called has never been given out to any utility and I don't have an account with an electric/power/energy company.

I asked for the company name and she muttered something like "energy [something] consultants". I could barely get the "I'm not interested" out of my mouth and she hung up.

They hung up when answering machine activated.

Comes up Name Not Found on the caller I.D. Not the first time that they have called. My mistake, I answered the call.
