Someone named "Bob" called collect twice from this number on 10/11/07.  I did not accept the calls; have no idea where he got  my number.

The number (386)236-0199 is a collect call from Volusia County Department of Corrections in Daytona Beach, Florida. Inmates use the facility's phones inside the dorm rooms where they are held and allowed to make collect calls to any person.

A prepaid account in the amounts of $25 or $50 can be set up and charged to your credit card by calling (866)230-7761 or call the automated services at(800)483-8314. When you establish a prepaid account and inmates call you from the jail, then this is not billed as a collect call.

The phone number (386) 236-0199 is not a solicitor, collections agency, or telemarketer. This number can not be dialed, there is not even a ring tone.

When I answered the phone, a recording informed me I had a collect call.  That was followed by a male voice who mispronounced my name and pleaded that he needed help.  I hung up.  This occured at 5:08pm on 7/27/08.

some one is calling me from this number and i dont know who this person is and who like to know who is calling me.

inmates use this number and phish for information in order to charge long distance calls to your number.  Do not answer these calls unless you know an inmate who is calling you with your permission.  This is a scam
