The DNC isn't a call blocker and can not protect you from the illegal callers, extortion scammers, foreign country's and frauds. Criminals do not obey laws simply said.    They use spoofed numbers which make it hard to track them down.. it takes time to do this and many subpoenas for call records.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Dear Cheryl:

1) If you ARE a real estate agent, I am not considering selling my home at any time in the near or distant future, and I am not looking to BUY real estate at any time in the near or distant future. If this is your manner of scaring up business, it is ILLEGAL to call those of us whom are registered with the Do NOT Call list! I would suggest that you cease and desist or you WILL be prosecuted either by the government or by private citizens who will SUE you!

2) If you are another of the scores of callers for the AmVets group, I am on the DNC list AND I have asked you people numerous times to STOP CALLING! I would suggest that you honor my request. Otherwise, you are ASSURING your group that I will NEVER EVER donate ANYTHING to the AmVets because I consider your WILLFUL continued violations of my repeated demands to be HARASSMENT!

3) If someone else is using your phone number to send fake caller ID information, then I would suggest you contact law enforcement and possibly change your phone number!

Do you really and truly believe that the person that is calling you will actually see that post and somehow magically know who to stop calling?  Did you put any thought into that post?  My guess would be no.
