Several calls from a computer hawking life insurance over the last several days. I played dumb and hit "1" to talk to a representative. Got a Central Florida call center that told me the company commissioning the solicitation is "United Life Insurance" out of Davenport, Iowa (home office). I asked them if they were licensed in the State of Florida and was told yes. I could not get the customer service number for the company nor a return number to call the call center back. Time for a complaint to the Florida Dept. of Insurance!!

they call and I do not answer because I don't answer unless I know who is calling....they hang up without leaving a message....I goggled the number and it says Orange City, Fl.

It's Labor Day, can telemarketers call on a Federal Holiday? I suppose they will call whenever they feel like it. This number is so annoying, there is never anyone there when you answer. They will never leave a voice mail but will consistantly call back to back. I'm on the National do not call. What else can I do?
