Hi everyone, the company that called from 385-322-3085 is a collection agency/law firm. The name of the company is Chad Steur Law offices, and they are located in Salt Lake City, Utah. They are also affiliated with a collection company called Federal Pacific Collection out of Utah. Please be mindful of them calling because they (Chad Steur & Federal Pacific) often break collection laws to attempt to collect on debts. By the way, when I called them back the same girl answered the phone in the same manner, saying "law office". I hope this is helpful and good luck to everyone.

Got a call much like others are reporting here.
I owe nothing, and have never failed to pay any obligations I have incurred.
Having said that, I have a former spouse (divorced over 21 years ago) who still uses my name and address to
borrow from various high interest loan sharks.
I would assume that this call is another debt she has incurred and failed to pay.
I never answer such calls.

Reported these morons over a year ago, they quit calling for about 1 year and now are at it again. They do not follow the law as required in an attempt to collect a legitimate debt; once called, they must provide you a copy of the debt within 5 business days. This dung hole is a predatory debt collector, nothing more; everyone who receives a call should report them to the FEDS and your state attorney general's office.

I received a call at 12:13 pm stating this is Cody calling with Chad Stewart Law Office and that I need to call them before 2:30 pm. The return number to reach them was (877) 209-4155. They were asking by a pevious last name I haven't had in 22 years. Number showing on Caller ID is 1385-322-3085  (Salt Lake City, UT number)

What these companies do is collect information from online search engines you may or may not visit, either looking for a loan for a house, car, payday loan etc..., sometimes it is even from a ligit looking website... they have your information and if you do not speak to them they google your name and find people with similar names and family members and call and horase them into thinking you are not paying your bills and will try to get them to pay it for you... If you speak to them you need to have them send you a copy of the debt you owe, but once you acknowledge them, they feel they can just keep calling you..... Give them a number to call such as local police of the local DA's  office, at some point the calls will be traced, and these people will call you back and ask why you gave them a phony #, just tell them you wanted to speak to an attorney so there you go... Speak to one..... Do not verify any information with them over the phone, they will ask you for ss#, addresses, contact #'s for references you used on an application and so on, once they have this information your screwed.....
