CID said  IMS with out of state number. They left no message. Blocked.

I have received and blocked four of these numbers showing up as IMS, today is number five. All are received after 1 pm PST I have not answered any of them but have blocked each one. As you can see below they all start with (385) then 249 so I am hoping that they will eventually run out of numbers. (385)-249-1221, (385)-249-1347, (385)-249-1870

After looking up numbers on here for the last 3 years and submitting numbers, and reading a lot of the complaints I must believe now that when myself and everyone else put our names and numbers on the DNC list my guess is that this list is being used as a list by all scammers to go ahead and call instead of do not call. By using the list they know that the numbers are all active numbers with people who are on the other end of the line. Each time I get a call I have gone online and filed a complaint and always receive a return email that it was received however our FCC does not have any where near the resources to go after all of the violators and because this is a known fact they continue to get away with this BS. Maybe in the future either all of us will be able to set up our phones to auto block everyone except those we want to hear from like the capcha thingy in an email. Or the boiler room sales idiots will go out of business because they are not able to make payroll due to lack of profits. I hope for the latter.

Yes certainly they get the numbers from the DNC.  Because absolutely nothing says great business model than paying $16,000 for a list of people who don't want to be called and won't buy anything if they are called.  I can see why you must have a Master's Degree in Business Marketing.  Or possibly they have set an autodialer to call certain numbers which can be done for a fraction of a penny.  Or maybe they are using data mining?  Perhaps you should actually use that grey matter between your ears to think instead of hypostulate?

As for blocking calls, that feature is readily available including call blockers that white list.  Again, a fews seconds of research would have made you an informed individual.

Asked to talk to the "manager." I yelled really loud, "[***] YOU! GET A REAL JOB!!!" and hung up.
