Answered call which I normally don't do if I don't recognize the number. A woman named Joan was calling me one last time about extending my car warranty. I haven't owned a car in years. Told her to take me off their list. Blocking number.

Caller ID showed as scam or fraud. Went unanswered. No message left.

Said they were trying to reach me to renew car warranty.  Have not owned a car in over 35 years and then it was used from a private owner.

Another spoofed number, robo-called on a tie-line. Scam oriented, this one for auto warranty, which seems very common with the scammers. The worst thing you could do is give them any personal data and a credit card over the phone, which could potentially result in identity theft and hundreds of dollars of fraudulent charges on your credit card (for something which will never be delivered). Calling your credit card company to complain will likely connect you to a call center in the same derelict building in Mumbai where the scam call center is (callers could be related). Beware!
