I received 2 days ago by Federal Financial something or another. They said I had won 3  days and nights at a hotel and they wanted to deliver the prize to me. They had my old address, and so I talked to them a while and I made an appointment with them to bring the prize to me. After, I talked to them I searched their number and I learned it was a well known scam. So I blocked their number. Then a guy called me today about the appointment using a different number, but he also used a different company name and had a completely different idea of what the appointment was about. I told him that I had researched them and that I knew they were scamming people. He hung up on me. From what I have read, they keep calling and harassing people. They are calling from Utah. If they persist with me, I am going to tell them I will have their call traced and then bring them up on charges.

We will book you a seat on the next bus to Asia. Due to caller ID spoofing (faking) your caller could be anyone anywhere in the world. Most likely Asia, Africa, or Russia. Remember, you cannot win a contest you never entered. You cannot win a lottery you never bought a ticket on. Any request from a cold-caller for personal/financial information, or an advance fee to collect, is a scam.
