I continued to get calls from this number after researching it here on 800notes so finally I answered out of curiosity. I am quite sure it was a computer I was talking to and not a real human being. It was good, but not quite good enough. It asked for my husband with its cheery feminine voice and I answered "yes." It was able to discern the higher pitch of my voice and said, "That's okay (or something like that) I can talk to either of you. Trying to get in touch with you is harder than getting my kids to clean their rooms." And then it launched into it's pitch and said something about an envelope being sent to me, like I had already agreed to that. I asked where it was calling from and it took awhile, perhaps ten seconds or so, a bit longer than for a human being, for it to stop the pitch and answer my question. It told me where the charity was located, which isn't necessarily the same thing as where the call was coming from. Then I asked to be put on the Do Not Call List and it said it would do that. I don't give to charities without checking them out first and even then I would give directly, if I decided to do it, so that fundraisers don't get a cut. After reading the comments here it would seem that this is not a good one to give to. Also, I really dislike it when companies try to pass off a machine caller as a human being.
