Voice mail telling me the IRS is planning to prosecute me and that I should call them back to get help. Who are they to know the IRS is planning to prosecute me? Common sense tells me the IRS would write me a letter long before I was in trouble with them. I can only hope no one has fallen victim to this scam.

I answered and after a long delay there was a distorted computer generated message stating that this was final notice from the IRS before they took action and to call them back at that number.  It is NOT an IRS number and obviously a scam.

Got a call at 6:30 am this morning, and now another one. Sounds like a scammer. You don't even have an option to speak to anyone. They claim to be IRS.

Called my home number and left a voice mail stating we are in trouble with the IRS, call back immidiatley to avoid prosecution. sigh. so effen tired of this crap. Blocked the number. Praying other people/the elderly don't answer and get scammed...

This number has beencalling me all day telling me they are the IRS and going to sue me and it is "my final notice".  It needs to stop.
