Credit card scam

This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by failing to have an operator on the line when the call is answered, and further violate the TCPA by playing a recorded message without an operator on the line to pause or stop the recording. Once you do get to an operator, they further violate the TCPA and prove they are a scam by refusing to provide a phone number or physical address when asked. The recording states that you are eligible to lower your credit card interest rates to 1%, however the operator has no information about you or your credit cards and needs this from you to check your eligibility. This is clearly a scam. Do not provide this scammer any personal or financial information.

Calls my office phone. Caller ID reads "Corpus Chris TX". Since I do not recognize the number other than it calls and hangs up I do not answer. The caller/robo caller hangs up and does not leave a message.

Caller ID displays Consumer SVC.  Msg: Final chance to ower your interest rate.  Wish they woud stop calling. 19 calls from this company so far in December.  They continually chage their phone number.  So much for the "do not call registry".
