Called the number back and received a recorded message that stated 'press 9 to be put on the do not call list...GOODBYE'.  Obviously I did not press any numbers, as that is a scam unto itself, where you end up giving 'permission' to the scammers to use your phone number and charge outrageous rates, that you have to pay because you consented by pressing a number, (like 9), thinking that by do so it would put an end to the calls.  The call disconnected a few seconds later, and will be blocked.  The caller ID displayed 'ABERDEEN WA' and the call was received on August 15th, @ 10:07 am, PDT in Washington State, other side of the mountain.  I tried calling the number back by pressing *67 first, to block my caller ID information from being displayed on their equipment, but when I did this, I got the 'we're sorry, the number you are calling has been disconnected, or is no longer in service, if you feel that you have, blah, blah, blah'.  I had to call with my ID info unblocked to get the 'press 9 to be put on the do not call list' scam option.

fraud number to get money from you.

This number called me three times within a half hour. Never left a message. If it was that important to call me three times but not to leave a message something doesn't add up. Blocked the number. Then googled the number. Most posts suggest that it is a scam. Seems like it to me. As well.
