I get these calls, also. Keep in mind, a few times this call came, it was before 8 am which is a violation of FCC regulations. Some came at 6:30 am. This alone, tells you it's a scam/fraud type call. Also, I tried calling it, but it just rings.  one of the previous bloggers stated they spoke to somebody claiming it was IRS and that you owe money, so they are scammers, probably from another country.  the IRS will never, ever, ever contact you by phone, to give money for something that you supposedly owe. Just block their call. Report it to the IRS. Never give $$ to ANYBODY for ANYTHING over the phone. Verify through legal means, 1st, that they are legit.

Another blogger said that they spoke to somebody who sounded Pakistani, or something of that nature, who transferred him to another person stating that it was the IRS and that you owed them money, which immediately, we know it's a scam. Also,  I received some of these calls before 8 a.m., which is a violation of the FCC, as well as,  if they really were collecting money for the IRS, would be a violation of the FDCPA. But, the IRS never will call you. Just block the phone #.

Claim to be from IRS. Heavy Indian or Pakistani accent (initially a robo-call will call your number and when you call back you get transferred to the scammer). They claim you owe back-taxes and threaten you with arrest, a lawsuit (the IRS will never do that). Very aggressive.

They call early in the morning, before 8am. I work in collections, so I know they are scammers.  I have blocked them using my android anti virus system. I did try calling them, no answer. I would not be very politically correct if I did, anyways.
