missed call. when call back "not working number" messes received.

When I answered, i was told he needed to verify my phone #, name and address, he was very pushy about this. I told him to take me off his list and I am on the no call list. He said he needed my info to get me off the list, I said I would not give my personal information and as he called me he should know my phone#, still said he needed my phone number! very strange. I have blocked this # on my phone,
