Calls and leaves no message!!

Caller states "This is about the IRS filing a law suit against you."

They leave a message that the IRS is filing a lawsuit and leaves a number to call back. When we call it back there is no answer and no answering system.

Its a scam. Pretends to be from the IRS.  The IRS doesn't call people out of the blue to say they are filing a lawsuit against you.  They send letters of inquiry then might follow up with an audit.  Don't call these creeps back.

Phone rang. I didn't answer because I have been receiving many scam calls so I monitor Strang numbers. They can leave a message. This caller left a message about an account at the IRS and stated I needed to call them before lawsuit proceedings started.  Well, if the IRS needs to contact me, I know they will snailmail a letter to me, NOT CALL.   Then I Google the number and discovered that the call is indeed a scam call. My husband called the number back and the person who answered had an Asian accent, just like the many other scam calls I have received.
