I got two automated messages saying that the IRS has a pending lawsuit against me. Such a scam that will unfortunately fool some people. I hope they get stopped. I submitted a complaint at the FTC. Read: https://www.irs.gov/uac/Newsroom/IRS-Reiterat ... -Telephone-Scam

I work in an industry that deals with the IRS on a daily basis. The IRS (a) will only contact you via mail, and (b) they don't file lawsuits...they have authority to act that is much greater.
